By the way does anyone have any good recipes for bubble mixture?I do somewhere from playgroup days, maybe I will have to go and drag them out.

I'm guessing liquid soap and water.

A bit of glycerine adds the elasticity to the soap. bigger brighter and strechier.

When I used to teach preschool, we used Dawn dishwashing liquid, a touch of glycerin and water. Made pretty bubbles that were sturdy.

Dawn has a longstanding reputation as the best dishwashng liquid for bubbles, but it's not supported by any scientific testing of which I'm aware. You can buy a half-gallon of bubble mixture at Toys-R-Us for $3-4.

add glycerin to the dawn (or joy) dish detergent with water for durable bubbles.

because pure glycerin can be costly, one site I read said that white Karo syrup works well. (light corn syrup)

Basically -- 1 part Dawn, 15 parts water, and from 1/2 to 1 part of Karo, depending on your personal preference.
