I know that I want to do something with photography as a career someday but I'm not sure exactly what aspect of photography I want to focus on. Partly because I'm not aware of all of the opportunities out there. All I know is that I love to take pictures, what are my different options as a photographer? Thanks, I look forward to your replies.

Take some photos, look at them, choose the ones you like. Take some more in that style. You shouldn't have to ask what style you should take on.

There are many such as photojouranlism, sports photographer, portraits, glamour, wedding photographer, even a forensic or medical photographer just to name some off the top of my head. And you don't have to limit yourself to one type unless you want to. Do a search on photographer at www.google.com and see where it leads you. |

Think about lifestyle too.
The life of a wedding photographer is vastly different from that of an imbedded war photographer.
Well,.. at most weddings.
