It's not a hard thing to find camera reviews, but I am having a veritable bear of a time finding sites that review lenses. I do know enough to not trust (whole-heartedly, anyway) what the manufacturer says about their lenses, and I know that price alone doesn't dictate a good lense (although it typically dictates a better lense).

So, aside from asking you extremely knowledgable people about good and not so good lenses, do you know of any sites that do side by side comparisons on the same camera of the same subject?

Any help will be appreciated by my raising a cup of tea in your honor. Jasmine tea, at that.

I agree, FredMiranda.com is a great place to do research. I always go there before buying lenses and camera acessories.

How about for 4/3 system lenses? I think Freddy is more of a Nikon and Canon kind of guy, which is cool, 'cause he's got some good info.

I think that 4/3 may be a bit too new still, and getting reviews ain't easy.

By the way, Menard and Neo, this is some good tea. Thanks.

For Nikon lenses, this guy is my guru:

I just found this site yesterday after looking around for a while. This doesn't give reviews so much as it gives rating and prices. I would still like to find the link of the site that was offered up here a few months back, maybe someone will remember that post and put the link up again. Here is the other one for now.

Check this out.
The site has fairly simple to understand graphs with color-coding, and has a fairly decent listing of lenses (including some 4/3 lenses - a definate rarity).

Thanks for all the help...so who knows of some more places to look???
