I enjoyed your exhibit at BTA. All of the photos there were great. I'll heading back there some other weekend to see more of the Arboretum looks like a great place to take photos. Must be beautiful in the Spring when everything is blooming. |

Here is one who looks like he is about to become someones meal. He escaped but over the next three weeks several fell victim.

Thanks for the comments. All your pictures are GREAT. Thanks for sharing.
Vtruan I'll be going back to Boyce. Not sure why I haven't been there before, but really enjoyed it today. I didn't see many birds there today. I guess that could have been due to the weather when I was there. Beleive it or not it poured. Felt like I was in the tropics. |

I saw a couple cardinals and a lot of hummingbirds. I went out wandering after the rain stopped.
Van, you should let us know next time you are in town.

This one is kind of special to me because it was taken at the rehearsal dinner we had for my cousin, whose wedding was the first one I ever shot. |

Daryl,
May be this fall sometime, my brother and his daughters & family and my sister all live in Peoria and Avondale areas. Been birding & exploring most of Az since the early 70s. I like the Huachucas Mountains (Ramsey & Miller Canyons) best for butterflies and birds. Green Valley/Madera Canyon is great also.
Everyone, what wonderful shots of some beautiful butterflies.
