Just felt like lightening things up a bit here.

I'm thankful that I have the means to be an amachure fertographer. I like takin' perdy pitchers and sharin' them with all ya.

1.
2. A career that I adore and that doesn't feel like "work."
3. My newfound independence.

I'm thankful for everything God has given me.
Two parents that just celebrated their 30th anniversary together.
Thankful for being raised with a firm hand and being taught right, wrong, and how to be a man.
For my parents putting their boat up for sale to pay for my coming college semester.
For my sister giving me a free place to live 6 months out of the year while I co-op.
For a girlfriend that's stuck by my side and helped me through hard times for over 2 years now.
For having enough money to get by, but not enough money so that by the age of 15 that it was time to start working for what I needed (parents are high school teachers).
For my health. None of us are probably 100% healthy, but close your eyes for a couple of days and see how fun it is to be blind, or try not being able to move without assistance.
But most of all I'm thankful for a God that gives me hope. One day I'll die, and a few years down the road people will forget me. Maybe not my grandkids, but their children's children will. Eventually all you do will be forgotten. Photos will turn to dust. So what are you living for? I'm thankful someone as ignorant as me can understand how to get to heaven, and thankful someone as much of sinner as I am daily can be accepted. You can watch me for a day and you'll find problems with me. This world isn't about me or you, or your children or their children. As photographers who get out in the world and see it's beauty, I'm sure it's easier to appreciate this crazy place. Thank God for it :)

Now that I've ranted enough, I think I'll go mow the yard.

I’m thankful that these slacks I’m wearing fit just right -- they don’t ride up on the crotch and yet they still accentuate my butt. It’s almost enough to lead one to the belief in a divine power and a purpose to the universe.
