Well, strictly speaking that's "The Whaling Directory of the United Staes in 1869", which I'm preparing for press and just proofed last night. And after THAT I wandered into the other room, flicked on the tube, and saw that "From Dawn to Dusk" (oddball vampire bloodfest with George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino and Harvey Keitel starring) was playing, so I stayed up to watch that, and there ya go.

I don't do movie theaters, they don't caption them :-)

Almost done these books:
Shake Hands with the Devil - Romeo Dallaire
Truth Needs No Ally:Inside Photojournalism - Howard Chapnick

I highly recommend both.

Movie:

I love Huckabees

Kind of recommend it...it was pretty good but seemed to resolve too simply.

Just finishing book VII of the Gunslinger Series by Steven King, "The Dark Tower" This series makes War and Peace and Lord of the Rings combined seem like a couple of days' work...

Just watched The Lord of the Rings, expanded version - all three episodes.

No, apparently I have nothing else to do...

Wow, you're reading 'Mere Christianity' and watching 'Orgazmo'!

CS Lewis is one of my favourite authors but I have to say that Orgazmo is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Am currently reading "Fat Man in a Middle Seat: Forty Years of Covering Politics" by Jack Germond - fascinating insider views by a retired political columnist.

Last movie was the "War of the Worlds" remake - Tom Cruise is cool as usual, great special effects but not much plot. Wanted to see it because of it's historical context but should have saved my money and waited to see it on TV.
