I was just going through the galleries and a thought went through my head... how many photos do you take a day, or how many have you taken on your camera? I've had my S1 for just under 2 months, and at last count, i have taken 2314 photos. I was just wondering what your numbers were? call me curious.

I've had the 20D less than a month and I've racked up the number of the beast; my 666th shot is my shoes entry.

| Coming up on 1 year with the 300D. Looking at right around 6500 shots. |

One and a half year with my rebel, shutter broke down once fixed it. Around 17, 657 shots with a lot that's deleted to save space. That makes around 28 GB of photos.

20D since March. Turned over the numbers twice, and around 1,000 count now on the third go-around. So I guess 21,000 give and take, since March.

Since March 2005 (when I got my camera and joined the site), about 4500. I know that's not much in the great scheme of things, but I really think I've learned a tremendous amount in the short time I've been somewhat serious about photography. I can only hope that I continue to learn on the curve I've established. It's GREAT fun!

It feels too much like a confession, looking at the iView catalogs:
1999-July 2003 (Oly 520D, Oly 2100UZ, Oly 700UZ, Nikon 5700), 20,000
Aug 2003-Jan 2005 10D 39,000 (10,000 RAW)
Jan 2005-present 20D (all RAW) around 15,000
Telephoto, I've shot 165 self-assignments here at home since March 04.

yeah so my backup drive is 500 gb, good thing eh? 2 sets of CDs/DVDs on different brand media ;-P
lookit how much money I saved by being digital!

since i'v gotten my fuji(twas a second christmas)about a year i've had the shutter close some 2,777 times.
not bad considering i'm only 17, 16 when i got the camera.
and some of the photos actuly tunred ou nice! |

well ice had my eos 350D for about 2 weeks now and im at +/- 800 pics.
so im at like 400 per week. in total i have no idea. im just photographying for around half a year now.

I decided to get into this photography stuff last month and bought myself a 350D, since then I have racked up 3500 images.
My girlfriend has been into photography long before me and since my camera is better than hers, she has managed to take a few with it... :-) |

wow, great, its awsome to hear what you have been shooting~! around here its almost shame full (in my opinion) what people shoot, my best friends dad has a digital Rebel 300-D, sob sob, and he has only shot about 4000 in a year... A YEAR~! and my uncle is the same, he's had a Canon Digital Rebel XT for a couple month now, and he's still in the low hundreds :^( i'm getting emotional now, so, if your under 1000, keep it to your self :^)

This thread comes up every so often...
13000 + 24000 + 32000 + 2000 = 69,000?
That was my last count.
9000 on 20D in just over 2 months, another 3000 on the 300D, so 81,000 as of this count. WOO. Another 5 months and I'll top 100,000!

jk - although I'd guess you're in probably the right ballpark. Most likely between 5-7k on this camera. No idea before that.
