I was wondering if it would be possible to have the watched threads thing take you automatically to your most recent post in the thread instead of having to wade all through everything again. I like to read a lot of forums and post a fair bit recently. Oftentimes I come back and want to quickly check for updates.
Currently clicking on the link to a thread takes you to the beginning of the thread.
Also, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would it be possible to introduce a simple sort of colour coding for the link where if it hasn't been updated, it is one colour, and if it has been updated AFTER the last post, it could be a different colour?
That would be SUPER!

| Bump. I really hope that someone else could post some opinions on this. I still feel this would be a very convenient idea. Especially with some of the longer threads. I hate forgetting which page you posted last and finding a particularly lively thread has gone to 9 pages and reading everything in a weird order. Surely this can't be that hard to code in? |

I have a question...when you mark a thread as watched, where exactly does one watch it? I marked one a while back but still can't find it. I must be dense I guess. ;)

| At the bottom of the forums there's a button that says "watched threads" and if you click on it, they're all in there. |

I am also referring to the recently posted threads in the profile. I would love it if there was a way (even if there was a setting in the profile that I had to set) where I would be taken to my most recent post in that thread. I have seen other forums set up like this.
Branch Scores... thread was 9 pages. I don't check scores threads every day, I think I checked it 4 times in a week, but I am interested in reading the whole thing when I am involved in a challenge. Honestly, it is a little hard to remember which of my posts was my most recent moving through the thread from the beginning, and moving from the back is a bit of a weird way to read a thread.
This is something I can live with, I just think it makes sense to do a brief calculation within the linking mechanism.
