I've been experimenting with drops and getting my exposure times set on my camera right to capture them. This is one picture that I ended up being a little proud of and would like to know what others might think of it. The origional picture was very dark (unfortunately, I don't have it anymore because I goofed), and when I did a auto brightness/contrast, the colors popped out. I touched up the background just a little bit in post-editing (that's when I lost the origional), so it wouldn't be eligble for DP Challenge, but otherwise, it's mostly all from the camera.

Thanks ahead of time

Holy cow that's awesome! A little red for my taste, but then again, what's a blood bath without that haunting colour? I think it's the orange of the background my eyes are having a hard time adjusting to, but it is artistically very dramatic and, for lack of a better phrase, uber shwa. *applauds* Also, I've got to say, the whole drop mid-air thing... kudos!! I am impressed!!!

Looks good Connie :) You may want to try some white balance settings on the camera also when shooting in this lighting situation... that will help tone down the yellow tints :)

Thank-you very much, guys. I appreciate the info. Thanks, John, I will fiddle more with the white balance settings.

Normally the yellow would bother me, but for some reason I really like it. It makes the picture for me. Very nice work!

Cool photo..
Maybe it's just my monitor but there seem to be a lot of compression artifacts around the drop itself?
Lovely colours and real feeling.
