How do i make "IR" photoes?
i was wondering if there is a plug in for that or a filter?

is it digital filter or what?

p.s..
im using photoshop cs..

There are other tutorials online... I suppose you could make your own action that did it. Anyone have one?

If you do a search of the forums you can find some helpful info on IR. Most use Hoya R72 filters but it can be done in the computer too.

Damnit. For the last bloody time, you can't create IR photos in post processing. The only way to do so, is to get an IR filter

SORRY. You can get a SIMMILAR IR effect using post processing methods. Don't get pissy.

I think "similar" is quite an overstatement...

IR and UV photography can't really be recreated as the Color spectrum that the filters (IR) and Luminaires (UV) produce effects outside of the visible light spectrum. Yes you can do "hommage" to IR and UV in post....but don't hope for the same results.

however as a user of the 300d...if you use the KIT lens,your results may be less than stellar because the kit lens as a problem with "ir" holes in its coatings... which results in some "overexposed" IR areas on the shots.
