wish I had an extra $800 - I'd buy one. But, reality says I'm broke.

I do another search and I found this one.

The price is $2,999.99, but when you add this to the shopping cart, the price is $1899.95

But I prefer to invest in this one

Brad - what's with the "no camera - vote only" under your name?
08/12/2005 12:53:43 AM · #9
Most of the stuff Meade had showed up as unavailable but this one didn't.

The 20D went through for me. I'm not sure why it didn't for you guys.

I'm really tempted to go ahead and buy it too, but unfortunately I have no money. I may call my dad though.

I'd go for the 1Ds Mark II, but I got the error for that one.

The 20D went through for me as well. WOW!

Somebody tell me if this is serious....cause if it IS....I'm going to the bank!

hi ladyhawk22... i was able to add it in my cart... i doubt this would last long considering it's a price error... about a year ago, a similar website posted the Nikon 8800 for only $350! I ordered one and it took two weeks but I received it in brand new condition :)

What the hell I'll buy one
08/12/2005 02:07:30 AM · #15
Hey let us know if it goes through :) I'm tempted of buying one then selling it again... I know... I know... but who could resist buying and selling then getting good lenses right?

but ALL the canons appear to be on sale.....

this is so weird??
08/12/2005 02:13:58 AM · #19
I ordered it (body only - $600)

Now it is wait&see if I'm going to have to dispute it with my credit card company, talk to sales rep about rejecting extras, or if I'm going to receive a brand new 20D...

That's beyond "on sale"

i checked their ratings and it seems like it ok... it's also spotted through amazon so that should mean at least something right? if I were Amazon, I wouldn't want to be associated with someone who is irreputable right?

DAMN! Should I get it? It's always nice having a spare body :)

It does not mean anything - I've done a quick googling and did not find anything phishy about them. I'll continue digging, so I can react on time if they are bogus.

edit: it does not mean anything that they are listed with Amazon...

oh really? damn! i thought amazon would be better than that :(

Amazon does have the "A-to-z Safe Buying Guarantee Protection". Anyways, I placed an order too, probably one of the dumber things I've done in a while (though I hope not), but I had to give it a shot for that price.

Cuz' I'm a voter only.
Using the D600L for goofing around shots only - no more challenges for a while.
