It looks like Canon did not update their FileViewer utility to support the new RAW file format (.CR2) used by the 350XT. In fact, the FileViewer wasn't even included with the software that came with the camera. Is that right, or are we missing something?
We just ordered Photoshop CS2. Will that support reading the .CR2 RAW files from the 350XT?
Any info will be muchly appreciated.

According to that page, the latest version of PhotoshopCS2 should have Camera Raw 3.1, which does support 350XT RAW files.
