I took this photo last month sometime and never really did anything with it. Today I played around with it in Photoshop. The photo looks like I used the flash, but I can't remember. I know I did not have my tripod on me. Please tell me what I could have done to make this look better, besides having my tripod with me :-)

Check the EXIF data contained in the photo because it records the camera's state at the time of the photo. May give you an idea what you did. |

If you didn't use a flash then it appears to be an overhead spotlight. No matter, if you composed the shot as it appears, then possibly you automatically set your exposure on the right portion/background of the flower. Had you locked the exposure dead center of the flower and then panned slightly to the right, you would have the same composition with a properly exposed flower and darker background. Just my 2 cents. |
