I was curious to know what music everyone likes, so I thought that I would start this thread.

What 5 albums do you have in heavy rotation at the moment? Here are mine.

1) Burning Spear: Live in Paris
2) Hieroglyphics: Full Circle Live Tour
3) Blue Scholars: Blue Scholars Re-release
4) Bob Marley: Babylon By Bus
5) Thievery Corporation:The Richest Man In Babylon

2) Greenday - American Idiot
3) Radiohead - OK Computer
4) The Dissociatives - The Dissociatives
5) Radiohead - The Bends

1. Tchaikovsky the complete symphonies
2. Sibelius the complete symphonies
3. Repin plays Tchaikovsky/Myaskovsky violin concertos
4. Rachmaninov the completely symphonies and piano concertos
5. Shostakovich the complete symponies

For those of you keeping track that's...

1. The Gardenstate soundrack (Great songs on that one)
2. My Incubus Mix (All the goodies)
3. My Chevelle Mix (mix of both CDs and a little bit of APC- sort of random)
4. My Damien Rice Mix ("o" and others)
5. Puccini's Madam Butterfly (My favorite opera)

I listen to everything- but today that's what I listened too

In no particular order (cause I can't choose), I'd say my favorite artists at the moment would be...
The Killers, Greenday, My Chemical Romance, Bjork, Evanesence, Frou Frou, and the list goes on. Who knows, tomorrow it might be completely different.

2) Some rock/punk stuff I burned on CD's (paid for it, no piracy)
3) Wake up with classical music from a radio station
4) Not much else at the moment, I work in silence. :)

lol, thanks. I've got a long way to go, but it's a fun journey. As for the no friends thing, I just created that page yesterday :P

If you used an MP3 player with AudioScrobbler support, you could get all kinds of cool stats about the music you listen to, all automatically. And a simple web-page link would show what your actual listening habits are. On top of that, you get recommendations for other music to listen to based on what you play...


The above ^^^ updates in real-time (I haven't been listening to much music lately because I've been watching NASA TV all week.)
