Create a photograph that leaves the viewer wanting to know the story behind the image.... what happened here? where did this come from? why is this the way it is? where is the missing piece? why is there a missing piece? why is there an extra piece? where did the extra piece come from?
Create a mystery of some sort...

| Sounds very appealing would leave room for a lot of creativity as well as being very open to the subject matter. |

I love the idea, but i don't think the voters are that creative.

| This would be a difficult one, but the submissions would be nicely varied. I think it's a fantastic idea. |

Maybe we can take a picture of someone's score and then ponder on the issue of the same picture receiving both 1's and 10's

I think whatever I choose as a subject, the title (and question) would likely be the same: Why Did I Submit THIS?
Seriously, I think this would be a good challenge, and since it can have a photojournalistic aspect to it, it should fit my non-style pretty well... |

This could potentially be one of the most exciting challenges we have ever had. Both to shoot and judge. I think it's a marvelous idea.

Totally, Kolin, I remember seeing that shot when you posted it for 24/7 tips. I also remember wondering "what the hell" "where did that shoe come from" "where is the woman that wore it" It, for sure would fit into this category. But, I wonder if in this context, it would be as strong, I was viewing that shot and the others knowing that you had gone out on your lunch break in your city to shoot some photojournalistic shots so I think it had more impact because of the information I had. Unfortunatley, in this case, we don't get that in DPChallenges. |
