After 8 months of being a member, I finally got up the courage to enter my first challenge (Sports). When deciding which photo to enter, I obviously got too caught up with the distractions in the backgrounds and entered probably the weakest of the four pictures. No action whatsoever in "Catcher". I'll probably bring it upstairs tonight and stare at it so I can get a good nights rest!! Any and all comments will be appreciated. Thank you.

Agree, and nice camera.

4 has great stop action and the effort shown on the little guys face is fantastic. You can really tell he's using every ounce of energy he has to throw the guy out. Who cares about the background on a shot like this.

Thank you for your comments.

Quean - I viewed your profile yesterday. I love the Bentley photo! It's a great shot! I also gave you an 8 on your Mystical photo.

Loud - I'll be in Scottsdale in mid September. I'll have a few days to myself as my wife has a business conference. Is the Phenoix zoo worth a day trip? Where else do you reccomend to take pictures for the day? We will also be spending a few days at the Grand Canyon. I'm really looking forward to it!

Let me know as it gets closer, maybe we can plan a GTG or something. The zoo is worth a stop, we have a new male lion now and a monkey exibit where you can walk right in there with them. The Botanical Gardens right next to the zoo is worth a stop too. What are you looking for?

Check out the arizona GTG thread for a very cool stop on the way to or from the grand canyon.
