Has anyone got any experience buying lenses in Hong Kong. All I knoe so far is that Stanley St is a good place to head for. I am also aware that the warranty may only be for Hong Kong.
Prices are a LOT cheaper than here in Australia. However finding price info on the web is hard as most sites are in Chinese.
For the lens I am mainly interested in, 70-200 f2.8 L IS, I can find online at the same price as at B&H ... but it works out a lot cheaper when shipping and tax are taken into account.
Another lens of potential interest is the EFs 10-22 mm, which is considerable cheaper in HK.
Anyone got any info on buying from there, particularly if they know the details of any good shops.
Thanks

Discontinued lenses are supposed to be really really cheap there. Examples... 80-200L 2.8 "Magical Drainpipe", the 100-300L 5.6, or the 17-35L 2.8. I'm sure there are others, they will be your cheapest finds around.
