To record your voice, use windows "Sound Recorder". It can be accessed from Start>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recoder. This software will record your sound as a wav file.

Within powerpoint there is a place to narriate the slides automatically, it saves each file with each slide and automatically goes along with it, you will need a mic of course. Set up the slides then go to SLIDE SHOW and RECORD NARRATION.

Much easier than trying to associate the other files with each slide, if you mess up just re-record it. Good luck

If you have Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge you can make the recording in that and then fiddle with it to make it sound the best. (a bit like photoshop but for sound)

Most importantly you dont really want huge 44Hz 16bit Wav files for your voice on a powerpoint presentation, the file sizes will be huge. If you use sound forge you can convert the recorded file back into an mp3 file, for example, which will sound almast as good but be a 1/10th of the size.

What Sonic Foundry programme do you have before I carry on?
