I cannot say that I know BUT I would be stunned if it did.

Thanks Gill, it works, but you lose your waranty, of course, you gain the extra facilities, just trying to find out if anyone ever did it..

The Russian firmware hack is old news in the rebel series, but this is the first time I have heard of anyone using 20D firmware successfully on an older series camera. Do you have a link to an article somewhere that discusses this?

Rich, first you need the 1.0.4 on the D60,from this you can up-grade to the 2.0.0 I will look for a link and let you know...

It would be pretty amazing given that the 20D has totally different guts.

That is exactly what I was wondering in my post, isn't the D60 using a CCD? how can the engine have the same values for a C-Mos? and aren't the function mappins different? I mean, I know for fact that the 10d and the 300d were more or less the same yet the firmware of the 10d would not work in the 300d...as for the waranty, you still have waranty on a d60!?
