Hello there, this is my first day at dpchallenge, having only joined a few hours ago. I enjoy taking photos with my Sony DSC-V1, but am by no means a professional at it. That said, I'd like to share a photo I took at a local park earlier this afternoon. This squirrel, believe it or not, posed in this position for a good 30 seconds or so, giving me ample time to get a shot of it.
I'm always looking for ways to improve my photography, so comments are welcome. I'm still not very good at the post-processing aspect of digital photography. I use both Paint Shop Pro 9 and PhotoShop Elements. So any pointers for either program would be great.

| Wecome to chaos! Have fun with the site and learn one thing fast....and that is.....dont take things too personally. Lots of different styles and levels of competence on this site. Feel free to ask for advice and take out of it what is useful and discard what is not. A good place to look is in the "Learn" section as there are a few good tutorials that can help with the learning curve. In the meanwhile, welcome aboard and have fun! |

G'Day and Welcome.... i too am newish and i second what ivo said.." dont take anything too personally".. well you will at first, idid, but remember it's all learning, what will hurt you will make you stronger....lol...most of all observe and have fun...
