Here's the thing!
I was looking to get one of those tables for STILL.
something that looks like this:
But then it costs A LOT of money, for just a table (over 200 bucks). I'm pretty sure I can get one, for a lot less money!!!
The thing is, I'm no carpenter, architect or specialist in any way, to come up with a lil' project to build it up!
But I know (from my past experience with Lego) that I can put things together!
Is there any "gadget-builder kind of person" amongst us, that would be able to come up with something like that!? I'm pretty sure lots of ppz can benefit from that!

Waitin' on yo guys......

I'd be happy to take this one on. It might take a couple of days so i'll have to put this thread on watch to see if i can find a bit of free time. Any idea what any of the dimentions are?

plumbing PVC or electrical conduit and some odds and ends. Maybe $100 total (with the lights) and a few trips to home depot.

Lets see:
Height 40" X width 24" X depth 24"

I was looking to get something bigger than that. The height is just ok, but it doesn't seem wide, deep enough! What you say?

I kind of know what to use already to build it up, I just want something to follow you know, like a project, so I don't end up with a table that looks like Frankenstein!!!

and there is such thing as Home Depot in Brazil LoL!

For still objects! More of advertising type of shots, products and such. One day or another, we all have to make pic of that kind of stuff, and that requires a "more controled" enviroment! This is just the thing fort that!
Works for catalogs and brochures, but that also depends on what kinf of product you're going to shoot!

Those are very interesting links!!!

It's somewhat easier to build, with the advantage of been able to dismount it! I like it a lot.

the initial idea was to build something like this:
--------

Been the last pic the way the lights would be mounted to the frame on the table!

Design them and add them to the light tables that are in the links :)_ I know you can do it :)
clamp lights with truelight bulbs in them would work hooked to the frame...

Piece of cake. How much you willing to pay for this puppy including shipping to you and all parts plus my labor? I can build it for you in two days once all parts are received. Then add on the instruction manual I will have to write for you to put it together with photos, audio, video, written versions so anybody can do it.

EDIT: This really is easy to build. And very easy to write a manual how to put one together. I think if you dig down in your skillset you can find the tools you need.

LOL! Thanks for the laugh. :-D

I would say PVC pipe as well. Have you checked Ebay at all?

Hehehe, lego really was a blast!
But seriously, I thought of using PVC pipes as well, but it doesn't feel that "rigid" you know! I don't want it to bend if I set a heavier thing on top of it. So I'm thinking of aluminun, which is a lot lighter, and is also firm! I'm pretty sure I can put it all together, I just can't seem to make a draft of it you know. So I have something to follow while building it! This, and the fact that I still have to buy stuff to build it, are the only things keeping me behind my "schedule".

So, will any1 come up with a draft for it!?
