I'm voting down 1 point any shot that has the word beauty or any derivative of it in it's title. Thought ya oughta know! :-P

Although, IMO, my shot is a good one, I feel it will do poorly in the voting.

I too am worried about the 'beauty-ful' titles.

How many pics of babes/hunks/babies/puppies/kittens/flowers/etc. do you think will be submitted?

i submitted one of my girls -- then pulled it
..i think i'm a bit weird with this & went for the laugh --

My shot is dark and not very beautiful at all...so I am expecting the brown this time around. It was a last minute shot..actually yesterday. Today is gloomy and raining....so nothing beautiful to see without having to venture out and search for it. I will just settle this time for low scores as usual. Good luck to everyone else!

What a pathetic joke. I can't believe people do this kind of crap. I guess whatever helps us judge anything except the PHOTOGRAPHY. Thanks for keeping this fun.

who cares what they enter, or what they call it? is it that big of a deal to judge on the ability of the artist?

Since I very rarely even look at the titles, I would suggest a "no title" contest..that way there is absolutely no low votes due to this rediculous notion! : ) AND it would force those that rely on the title for people to 'get' their image to work harder on their photography skills!

im voting down an undisclosed number of points to anyone who predicts before the challenge even starts that they will vote down anything that contains the word or any derivative of any word...give me a break...the only reason i enter a title is because there is a blank for it...vote on the darn photo with qn open mind just as you would hope to be done to you....or is that too cool for you

i'm with you buzzmom .. but i'm going to vote down a certain number of predictible bad pictures- that includes pictures that don't have a subject, poor focus, trees growing from peoples heads, rubber ducks & etc

possbly even pictures that have dumb titles & are not beautiful IMO

I try to not use the challenge title in my photo title and I try to be creative. But I think it would be way too nit-picky to vote a photo down because of the title. IMHO the photography and meeting the challenge is what matters. A few times I have bumped the score up because of a very creative title, but the vote will never go down if I don't like the title.

I will say this that I spent all weekend basiclaly photographing just aobut everything and I took over 200 shots in the last couple of days that may or not be alot but for me it is and I found it exciting becasue the more I shot the more I saw,,It was pretty cool,,I dont know how I will do in this beauty challenge I am hoping in the 5's or 6's would be great but we shall see. Oh well I know I love my shot and I guess thats really all that matters.
