I had submitted this shot, but then thought better of it for several reasons so I unsubmitted it. I still like it alot though, so I made it today's PaD. It looks like I probably won't enter this challenge either. It's been awhile since I've had what I think is a good enough entry for something.

| Wow, why not submit it. I love Iris's... it would have been a 10+ in my eyes. |

i too would have given it a ten and not just because its an iris and its purple. thanks for sharing it. :o)

I liked it as well, although I would venture a couple of edits - could be sharpened a bit, and either add some contrast or drop the highlights/brightness a tad to tone down the front pedal some...it's almost overexposed.

It's already been reworked pretty well and doing much else to it I've found makes it appear overprocessed IMO. If this was to be any better, I do beleive it would have needed to have been a better photo out of the camera. One of the reasons I didn't submit it. I mean, I like it a lot...really do. I just don't think it's a stand out of any kind and not creative at all for the challenge. I expect it would have scored a solid 5 and I'm aiming higher than that.
If I don't think my challenge shot would earn a 6, I won't enter from now on I think. That sure doesn't mean it will get a six, but I am hoping to improve my overall scores. But I obviously liked it enough to share and to make it my PaD. Thanks for all the comments and I welcome any more. |

Would you submit something that people have already seen? I have been debating about putting one of mine up that has been added to my portfolio and I don't know if its allowed. (well, it would be a little different. There are two in one where this would be coming from)
