Hi
I have some old family Pictures say bout 30-40 years old, i want to make them into color pictures.I have always done the oppposite i.e making color into BW hence i have no idea how to go about making BW into COLOR, please help

There is probably easier ways to do it than what I do but in Paint Shop pro I select the area I want to color then go to Hue Saturation and lightness and adjust till I get what I want. What program you going to use?

In PS.....add a layer and then paint in the color in the section you want on that layer. You can use the magic wand to select (or any other method) or just use the paint brush. Next set the blending mode to color and mess with the opacity of the layer until you get the desired effect.
Do each color on it's own layer so that you have control of the opacity.
