Yes, there is are different flashes for Film and Digital cameras. Just bought the nikon SB26dx and it works perfect on my D100. I must admit that the flash is joy to use, and offers a lot of options.

ya know, my flash is very bright.. its very blinding. My friends have learned that they need to prepare themselves before i snap away, but still.. any idea why? (fellow olympus users?) Do you think the added-on flash would be less blinding?
