Here is a full frame, uninteresting photo from my new D2X:

Here is a 100% crop of the same image:

This is at iso 400 too, no noise!

Looks like I'll need more harddrive space for these huge files, but I think I'm going to like this camera :-)

ok, I want one. Maybe I wouldn't need this much resolution for most things I print but it sure would be nice. I am one who loves to view my images on my screen and zoom in to 50% or 100% to explore the details. That would be a lot of fun to do with that many pixels and provides you with a lot of options regarding cropping.

Hey, will that extra resolution fix my focusing problems? ;-) Very cool! That's what my camera wants to be when it/I grow up.

Can you tell me how you do the red box on the original photo. I know it has to be fairly easy, but I want to do the same thing with a photo of mine and can't figure it out in Photoshop. Anyone willing to tell me the steps?

Thanks!

Draw a square in a new layer
Reduce the Fill to 0% in the layers tab
Right click the layer and click Blending Options
Go to stroke and adjust to taste

10-12 seems to be the plateau, good enough for 98% of the time.
Although I wouldn't reject a Mamyia ZD! :)
