Very nice, but please post a thumbnail or text link in the forum threads, not a large image. I'll add a warning to the thread title.

Are you sure you don't want to unpost this entirely and use it for the Silhouette II challenge?

very nice contrast. also great complimentary colors between water/sky/clouds. it's too bad the water is overexposed on the right. must have been difficult to deal with the tonal range. Maybe HDR in CS2 could handle these situations... what lense did you use and what kind of post processing?

PS: Did you get soaked after the shot? ;)

I like it, one thing I'd maybe do is rotate the image to get the horizon straight. It's not off by much, but a little.

Stunning! I've never seen a rain curtain that clearly! And I live in the UK where it rains a lot

Okay, this is where immediately following having taken said shot you tuck your camera in it's bag and RUN AWAY!!!!!

Well, then again....Iceland might not have tornadoes. So a cyncdrical cloud formation bring down gusts of wind might not be so frightening.

That's an extremely beautiful shot. It only needs, as someone else commented, a tad of ccw rotation to make it perfect. Well done!

Robt.
