I just have to say that it's so refreshing to see such low challenge entry numbers on the current challenges. It's a much less daunting task to vote and comment on a challenge when there's only a 100+ or so rather than 400+.

Makes it much easier to get through the whole process and more enjoyable to leisurely browse through the photos. Yes, by having 4 challenges up to vote on still leaves alot of photos to look at but at least you can choose one and make it through it without it feeling like it's work.

Anyone agree?

Hmmm, wish that was the case for me. :-)

I remember some threads awhile ago where people were saying it might be nice to have several challenges going at once to choose from. Which would in turn, possibly lower the amount of entries. Seems to be true in this case. Might be something to consider. I, for one, like it. :-)

Yes, it's much better this way. Slugging through hundreds of entries, it would get to the point where it was difficult to vote well. I'd be so sick of looking at the photos, I'd miss things. This way is a lot better! (Now, maybe I have a prayer of getting in the top 100! lol)

I do not think it is so much on multiple challenges but the challenge themes. Stick broken cars, water or things like that and people will jump out of the wood work.

Probrably going to get creamed for saying that but I have't entered since minimalism and I really did not want to do that one. I do understand that people should explore other ideas and methods and "sort of force" themselves to do things other then their favorite style or subjects.

wow someone agrees with me....hope your sure you want to agree with me =).

Well their were threads about to many submissions and then the themes seemed to be more on the "difficult" side. Probrably just a coincidence. I had ideas for Late Night and Dreams, but just nothing I was happy with. I expect triangles to be in the 300-400 range. Just because it is relatively simple to get a decent shot. Even though it is difficult to get a winning shot.
