I was surprised to get an email from one of the editors of Kodak's Photo of the Day letting me know that my photo was selected. My photo is of the Lincoln Memorial and will display on Kodak.com and their Times Square screen on May 29, 2005. You can check out the photo here.

Just had to tell somebody,
Bryan

Congrats Bryan.
The angle you shot that from and the lighting through the roof make for a superb shot!

I'm glad the angle works. It's about the only angle I could get because I was bracing my camera against one of the pillars. :-)

Congratulations!! You sure deserve that. It's a great picture: nice colors, great lighting, unique point of view... all the things that make a photo to be the POTD !!

Wow. That is the best photo I have ever seen of the monument. Fantastic work and well deserved recognition.

Bryan - brilliantly done image. Not to often that a relatively common subject matter, and a statue/monument, can be made so enticing to look at!!!!!

Very cool shot indeed! :-)

Congrats Bryan...Great shot. That is not an easy monument to photograph. Been there, tried that. I have some that are okay, but not nearly as nice as yours. Very nicely done!

Congrats. Very nice shot. How did they find it? Just by chance, or did you submit it somewhere?

I submitted it to their website a month or two ago. I didn't think I had much of a chance of being selected, but now maybe I'll submit some more photos.

Wonderful photo - congrats!
