Well, today I went out and tooks some pics.
What do you think about this one? The only processing I did was curves and hue.

Jessica, your focus is very sharp. I wish the image was a bit smaller because I can't see it as a whole. Can you resize it for us?

I like it, especially the shallow DoF. I think that bringing in the black point would be a great improvement, it gives the backgroud a really rich, dark tone and really makes the subject "pop".

Sorry, thought I did. Guess I dreamed that. :)
Ok. It's fixed. I added another picture, so the one I originaly posted has a brown background. |

Thanks for resizing. I prefer #2. Your focus is spot on with the shallow dof you used. I also prefer the comp in that one, too.
