These are some of the photos I took this week for the challenge, but chose not to submit. Reminder; the one I did submit isn't like any of these. What do you think?

Though it's arguable that all flower shots are boring, I definitely like yours. It does a really good job of isolating shapes, especially those of the flower versus its background. I'm not a big fan of the lighting on 2, and naked babies just don't do much for me as a viewer so it wouldn't have scored well with me either. Just a case of subject matter and the viewer, and of course it's only the opinion of one viewer :)

Sonifo, I loved the first one. The others were nice but I would score #1 highest.

I liked #1, #14, and #15 the best, although #15 has a lot of banding (at least on my monitor) within the candle-cup.

For what they're worth (maybe a 3.687?) here are my Negative Space outtakes.

Thanks DREW and SHORTREDNECK for your comments. The picture of the baby was the first picture I took. The second was my boy with the violin. I also didn't care for the lighting either. I thought for sure if I submitted the orange flower with the green background that people would find something wrong with the background because of the different depths the plant has.

konador, I like picture 1 and 12. I love the lighting. Very sad story you are trying to tell.

spiderman, I like the photos Paddle power 1 and 1 struttin, and peek a boo, but the contrast seems a bit off. They all seem to bright. I did however like the way you captured the objects and the negative space.

sonifo, i'm a sucker for flower photos, and i like it. i like the boy photo, too, but i'm not sure how much for the negative space challenge.

konador, #10 is definitely the one i like best of yours, would've rated it high.

spiderman, paddle power is very awesome.

generale, sorry, your pbase page is taking forever for me to load today. i will try again later.

here are my out-takes. comments are always welcome.

Gr8photos, Love your out takes. I have a feeling yours submission is going to do good. :)

generalE, I am not sure about yours. I would have voted the sunset higher then the rest.

There is one problem when one has a clear and specific vision of what one wants one's submission to look like: there are no out-takes to show because they are all so similar to the actual entry :-(

I've had that problem up till this week jak! All my out-takes are very similar, but I ended up using something completly different.
