well, it was higher, but now sitting at 6.000 with 22 votes (not all that many). BUT, it has been chosen as a fave pic, which is good because I almost didn't submit any photo for this challenge, and I know my entry has some faults due to it being a rushed candid shot.
added: and it was a photo I almost didn't take, as I was shooting a different subject at the time.

I submitted mine the unsubmitted it then submitted it... well you get the picture. But right now I'm glad I left it in.

What's sad, is that my Tacks submission (snapshot) is doing better than my People submission (emotive).
Maybe I should have used  instead.

No comments, I am so disappointed at that :( one of my best shots this far I think, was very excited about it because it came out of the camera so different from what I intended it to come out...camera overruled me ;) |

Once again, I'm wallowing in average-land, fluctuating between 5.5 and 5.7 all day. And of course for the 70 or so 4 or 5 votes, only 1 person has given me any suggestions (thanks Telehubbie!). I'm reminded why I wandered away from DPC the last two times!! Ah well, it's only day 1. I'm sure more people will get around to telling me what's so average about it later ;)

I only commented on a couple so far. Yours was probably a 7 or higher from me. I have a rule that I only comment in the beginning on ones that I score above average (7 or higher), and if I have a comment on one that scores lower I'll come back to it later. That way if somebody is tracking their scores by individual vote and see my comment they won't get pissed at me. But on the other hand if I leave a comment 4 days into voting that doesn't mean that I scored it low. Hope this makes sense. Kind of wierd I know, but I have my reasons. |

I used a friends lappy to edit this entry and regreted it after seeing on my mac at home by which time it was too late to do anything about it, im surprised it is this high to be honest, yet when submitting i thought it might even ribbon.. goes to show ya, monitors make a HUGE difference. I LOVE MY MAC I'll NEVER submit using another PC again.
