So tonight I was preparing all my pictures that I took in the first quarter of this year to send off for copyright registration. Since they don't require anything huge, I always just resize to 150x100 pixels so that all the pictures fit on one CD (Yes, it works. I do it this way all the time).

So while previewing the images I was scrolling through them as fast as my computer would allow me and it kind of looked like a little movie to me. So I decided why not, I *will* make a movie of it.

So picking one event... Here are all the images that I took at the NASCAR Nextel Cup UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 race.... condensed into 2 minutes. :ROFL

Poor quality due to the fact that I just used the 150x100 images that I resized already, but still pretty interesting. Keep in mind, each picture is from a still camera.

Right-click and select Save As.

THAT was AWESOME!!!!! The only thing you could do that could make it MOST EXCELLENT is to turn the images so they all go the same way! ;)

Jason,

I'm no car racing fan or anything, but that is COOL + v.funny! The audio is perfect. The whole thing makes a day at the races look like a lot of fun.

Outstanding! I really like the audio track as well. A really cool, very creative way to present the event. I smiled all the way through it!

I noticed the same thing when I was updating my IMatch database. I literally saw the last 3 years of my life flash before me. :)

Exellent example of eliminating ennui.

All he did was to take the still images, in time order, and push them together into a movie. Where it looks like an actual video clip, that's because he took a quick burst of shots. Very cool.

Download this form and follow the instructions.
VA Short Form

Kirbic is right, All my images are renamed with a date and time stamp, so I just sorted all the images from one day and added some music.

Pure stroke of genius man... IMO you could sell a high-resolution version of that for some real money.

I used Windows Movie Maker, free download off of the Micro$oft site.

That friggin rocks!

You can also convert all the images to .gif files and convert them to an animated gif file. I did that a couple years ago of our family putting up the Christmas tree using a free program called Unfreez.

WOW. The music was perfect! In some spots, it was so in sync with the images. I really think you did a great job. Thanks for sharing!!

That's awsome!!!
The music works graet and the photos just make it a real videoclip.
Great job on that one! Hope you get bored again soon enough ;-)

You took 1096 pictures in a single day? Good God, man. How many clicks have you got on your 1dII?
