I just got another editor's choice on usefilm with this:
, taken this year in yanuary in the same trainstation where I did my
"trainstation girl" who also got an EC on usefilm. Looks like that place is lucky for me. This is good :))

I'm not sure, something like the blue ribbon here. An award.

OK. Great image. Great composition. I wouldn't want it hanging in my house, because I think it would give me nightmares, but it looks like it should hand in a museum. Makes you think. Those people look like they have had a hard life. Probably an understatement on all counts.

Both absolutely wonderful pictures. Both of them really communicate to the viewer. They give a glimpse into a life quite different from the one most of us know. They make me want to know more about the people in them. Composition works exceptionally well for me, I love the way the shallow depth of field allows the old man to still be a part of the image but for the focus to fall on the woman. That kid has a face that is almost magnetic. Both wonderful pictures.

looks like a woman pirate being chased by a leprechan . .. i'm just kidding, I REALLY like these. Especially the first, it's hard enough for me to find one good subject in a shot and you got two in one. The old man is perfect cause his body language and shape tell so much of a story it still allows him to have impact when not in focus. I like mostly because it can't be dated. . .was it yesterday. . or 50 years ago? . . .timeless.

Very nice work!

My cousin and brother in law left for Romania(from Germany) last night on a Youth Mission with Youth Compass International. I already wished I coulda gone, now I really do!
