I assume you live in Nashville. I love the Mercy Lounge. I went one year for the 4th of July to hear Guy Smiley and the atmosphere was perfect. (Nice pictures by the way) |

I love Chattanooga. My husband and I sometimes take a day trip there just to eat at Sticky Fingers. |

Mercy Lounge seems to be fairly relaxed about photography so I didn't really need a pass (in fact, there was another amateur photographer there, also shooting with a 20D). The band is using some of my photos from a past show on their official site....and I've helped them with some publicity stuff, so they don't mind. Also, their booking agent, who I hadn't previously met, came up to me during the show and slipped me his card....asking me to email him some of the shots.

Wow! Very outstanding. They all look great. I love the tints that are being used. You're not affraid of shadows. Very cool!

Some very nice stuff. So you're not getting paid for any of these? |

Not yet....I figure, I was going to the show anyway....and their booking agent was really impressed, so it could lead to paying work. (I also want to use one of their songs in a film I'm directing....so a little bartering may not be out of the question.)
Edit: Just want to add....they're not on a label yet, so there's really not much cash flow going on...otherwise it would be different...but for now, I'm a fan, so I want to do what I can to help them get noticed and get signed....then we'll see if they remember me when they get huge. :)
