Greetings to the Critique Club :)
If possible, it would be great if ALL CC members could do at least one or two critique on either Monday or Tuesday so that we can get all the member photos critiqued and work on some more of the non CC member photos each week. For the last several weeks, we have only managed to critique 90-100 photos per week and we have a little over 60 members in the group. With each member possibly having two photos in challenges each week, we are not getting into the photos of everyone else on the site with any regularity....

I've done three or four already! Would it be an incentive to put the "rest of the site" ahead of the critique members critiques? Would that be fair?

I think that a possiblity will be that we find a different way to sequence the photos in the critique queue. Currently the CC members are at the top of the list.
I think the group is just losing steam in general, which is fine. There is no reward for being a CC member other than getting an opportunity to expand your own photographic ability through the process of learning how to give in depth reviews of other photos.

Just a thought. Is there anyway to queue the pictures so that if a person has two entered, one of them is near the top and the other is not. I know there are times when I have critiqued both pictures of the same person. This would mean that he/she got two critiques while someone else didn't get any.
I will try to get one or two done at the beginning of the week, but I find that my schedule allows me to do more towards the end.

What I try to do to avoid that is not do two critiques back to back. If everyone participates in this effort to do one or two critiques at the beginning of the week, this shouldn't be a problem...

| Actually, I don't think I've ever "drawn" the same person back to back. Just a freaky chance, I guess, so the order may not make a difference after all. Maybe I am just "destined" to critique certain peoples pictures. :-) |

Hi -
I did 3 or 4 critiques tonight, but had the same photographer twice in the same night, both cemetary shots from Liverpool. I sort of agree that if there is some way to limit members to ONE critique per week or something it may help you out. Whatever. . . |
