Hey all,

I use use this technique for sharpening sometimes, and wonder if it is still within the Basic editing rules.

Copy Layer, Filter>Other>High Pass, Then set this layer to overlay, and adjust the opacity.

The only resault from this is sharpaning, and I find I have more control with it than with USM. Any help on this would be appriciated, thanks.

It is not allowed because it uses layers - the only type of layers allowed are adjustment layers.
