I was kinda bored last night, so I got out my camera and played with the differant settings. I got this picture, what do you think of it?

Hi Bethany,
The smile and the pose are great, though the image is pretty flat in contrast and kinda' muddy in color. Not sure if you were trying to acheive a certain look or not.

I played with it a little in Photoshop and came up with these 2 versions real quick like:

This looks like it would make a great year book photo.
Great smile.

I agree the photo could use more contrast. It also seems that the focus is a bit too soft.

See what you think of this version of the image. I basically sampled the colors that were already in it to get your hair, eyes and lip colors. Then I sorta "painted" those colors back into the image. The background was just to be different...

I also sharpened and did local contrast enhancement (via USM) and then applied curves.

Anyway, see what you think:

Hee, I can relate. I get a lot of soft focus comments on my shots.
