Hi all

How this for service…

after month of saving I finally ordered the canon 17-40 F4 L lens from 7Dayshop late on Friday night which arrived at 6.50am on Tuesday morning also it was between £50 – 100 cheaper that anywhere else on the web (That I can find):-)

I have used them before and they are extremely good.

I've bought quite a lot from 7dayshop (lenses, flashgun, filters, etc), mostly coz they have some of the best UK prices around - due to their being based in the tax haven known as the Channel Islands. However, they're not too hot on out-of-stock items - anything they've got in stock they ship quickly, but I've been waiting for one or two small things (eyepiece extender, etc) for a good couple of weeks now, and they've still not got restocked. But hey, you get what you pay for sometimes :o)

Congrats Tony, I got my 17-40 from them when they were VAT free, post office kept hold of it though till I coughed up £85. The site is now VAT inclusive but still beat Jessops by a long way. Film peeps love them.

Finally got a chance to take a good look at it ... this lens is the bee's Knee ... 1 very happy guy here :-)

I got the 400mm f5.6L from them a couple of weeks back. It took about the same amount of time to come as yours and was a good £100 cheaper then I could find anywhere else. I'll be shopping there again as soon as I got the pennies saved for that 17-40 you just got.

Hmmm come to think of it. I'm pretty sure it was you that told me about them few months back. if so thanks for that Andi
