This very item was in the news tonight on Global News Toronto edition. They were accusing Tim Hortons of not being responsive to the environment because the exterior of the cups they use are coated in wax making them un-recyclable. There's like 200 million (I think) of these cups for this promo and they will all end up in landfills. But hey, I buy Tim Horton's coffee too, you never know...
