I took this as a test shot and I think it came out better then the shot its self. Have any of you had that happen to you before?

Test shot

Final Shot

The intersection of wall and ceiling coinciding with the bottom of the lens is a bit distracting. Otherwise good. I do like it a little better than the non-test shot.

The ceiling area above the camera seems a bit more overexposed in the second shot.

i think i like the first shot better simply because of the large lens, it makes the camera seem so much more badass, in the final shot however, the hands on the lens and the camera seem to put it into porportion and make it less interesting.

...just my thoughts

Yeah I love that tripod because I am tall (6'5") and it actually come up to my height. the Tripod is a Manfrotto 3233. The Tripod head is a Manfrotto Manfrotto 3275 410. Its a little spendy though sells for around $500 with head and legs.

You lost the depth of the room once you stepped into the photo. With the exaggiration of perspective on the camera it stands out where with you the effect is lost.
