My idiot friend from Ohio State just sent me this, and I can't do it. Can any of you??

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

Good thing I'm the only one in the room besides the dogs! Makes you feel like you don't have any control of your body. Not possible with this old body!

Man, that is crazy! Everytime I move my hand counter-clockwise, my foot also moves that direction.

I dont think your friend is quite the idiot. That is awesome. I have like tried it multiple times. Its too funny. I was rolling in laughter whilke doing this. Anyone else managed it?

And the thought of everyone with their right foot and their right hand in the air doing this now is cracking me up!!! ROFL!!!

I can do that easy! But I cant do it with my left foot in an anti-clockwise direction :\ weird!

Tried it again and watched the dogs, I think they are laughing.

I guess he's not actually an idiot. Socially awkward is a better fit. I have to give him some credit, he DOES design jet engines for Pratt & Whitney.

I'm completely unable to do this.

Maybe I'm an idiot. I am left handed so I figured it would be easier with the other side of my body. No luck.

i can't even make my damn right foot go clockwise while NOT makeing a 6!!!

Doesn't work for me. This topic popped up a few years ago. I attributed it to two of my other pastimes - distance running and guitar playing. I have limbs that think on their own independent of whatever else is going on ;).

I am the weird one once again. I can. I have all kinds of left-right cross overs, though. It's why I can't use a PC tablet!!! But I sure had fun envisioning all of you scaring your spouses, pets and friends doing this! LOL

Worked fine the first time, but messed up 2nd and 3rd. I got it down now.

I tried and had no problem...maybe I'm weird.

it's easy.

the trick is to write 6 in the CLOCKWISE direction starting from the loop and finishing at the high point.

...ok, it's cheating , I know.

If you're left handed you should be using your left foot (clockwise) then left hand to draw the six. It made a difference with my lefty beau--we think it's about dominant brain...

I tried doing that on the New York City E train and in typical fashion, was met by a host of blank stares and then the usual return to daily affaires.

Thats creeping me out!

I can do it. Well I techincally can move my foot clockwise and draw a 6 with my right hand, however its a technicallity lol If you draw the six from the inside out it works (hey it didnt say you couldn't do it this way lol).

I skipped middle half of answers (only read first few and last few replies).

I was able to do it easily, oddly enough.

Robt.

I used the Roman numeral 6 (VI). otherwise I'd feel like an inept fool.

Tell your friend that only people from Michigan can do it. lol
