I love you.

For the last 21 years you have been with me. You have stood by me through good times and bad. You have supported me when I have made good decisions and stayed with me when I made stupid ones. You are the reason that I can get up in the morning when depression makes me want to stay in bed. You are my life.

For over half my life, we have been together. I can not remember how it was without you and I hope never to be without you again. 21 years ago, you gave me the gift of yourself. 17 years ago, you announced that gift to the world when we were married. 12 years ago, you gave me the greatest gift that a man could ask for, our beautiful son. Everyday, you give me a gift.

You define me. Without you, I am not me. With you, I am everything I can be. Without you, I am an empty shell of a man. With you I am a man filled with joy. Without you, I am hungry. With you, I am fulfilled.

I have done many stupid things in my past. I have done things that hurt you deeply and for that I will forever have regret. But you have stayed with me. I never meant to hurt you, but I did. And you stayed with me. I don't know if I could have been as strong as you. I would have left myself in the same situations. You didn't. You stayed with me.

You may be wondering why I am saying these things to you here. I am a man who is not good with words. I say these things here because I can take my time and get it right. I am a man who is weak. I say these things here surrounded by friends that give me strength to say what I feel. I am a man who has a hard time with commitment. I say these things here in front of all these people to declare my love and commitment to you.

Ronda, I love you. I appreciate you. I worship you. I survive because of you. I prosper with you. I grow with you. I need you.

I need you to know these things.

Happy Valentines Day.

Yours always
Ron

When I first met my husband I told him he was my unicorn; everyone talks about them, but no one has ever seen one . . . . .except me. I had to wait until I ws 40 to find the unicorn, though!

it really is the thought that counts. for me, and i think for most women, any small gesture that shows someone is thinking about me is romantic.

I think it is the amount of sincerity that is conveyed that matters. You can't fake that or buy it. Women KNOW.

Wait until you turn 40! Life begins!! For men, adulthood just starts sprouting around age 30. You have to be patient with them . . .lol.

Ron, This letter means alot to me. You don't say alot of words like this to me and to see how you really feel means everything to me. This gift is even better than chocolate or flowers.

I love you very much!

hey David
i cant speak for everyone but she doesnt sound too grateful. Not all women are bad. Some really do appreciate when a man makes the effort.
