I think this would be an interesting challenge. I thought of this yesterday while at work. The company I work for takes up 2 city blocks and has 2 different buildings and the one reflecting off the other is really neat with great lines due to the windows.

I am sorta like Kramer when it comes to ideas, so I imagine I will be posting a lot of them!

I think this would be a great challenge. A lot of room for creativity.

Reflections could be fun... It could be even more fun (and challenging) if we limited it by specifically excluding a few common reflective items such as sunglasses and water :)

I think I'd like a 'reflection' challenge .... howeber I would not limit on the surface reflecting to leave more room to creativity.

Car mirrors got done quite a few times in the 'on the road' challenge. Most of them were pretty good :) We recently had a 'reflections' assignment in my local camera club, but we were restricted from photgraphing reflections on a liquid surface or body of water.

Car mirrors were the photos of the day for that assignment. They were all excellent photos, but not many people expanded their horizons beyond mirrors for that assignment...

Taking away the 'easy' ideas stimulates some amount of creativity :)

What's funny about this "Reflections" suggestion is that in the "Pencil" challenge, there was an excellent picture of a "police line-up" that showed the reflection of two pencils on the "viewing one-way glass window". And, while it did win 8th place, about half the comments reflect (pun intended) that a large number of people did not get it! They left comments like "too bad about the reflection"! I guess they had never experienced a line-up, or seen one on T.V. cop shows!

I think the reflections added a nice element to that photo.

I just checked and I gave it a 6. But I probably did not look correctly because I did not remember the reflection and I like the reflection a lot !!!!!
Learning as well how to look at pictures and vote : not in a hurry ;-)
So .. it's a little late for the challenge but .. Mr or Ms photograph ... I should have give you a 7 or 8

You're welcome! BTW, that photo is dated incorrectly -- it was March, 2002.

This would have been a good sumbission for the "Pencil" challenge, except I didn't come across it (while travelling) until Monday. I didn't find out the story behind the symbol however...
Today...ha ha ha...Tall Ships are sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge today, and I had to lend my camera to someone for a special project...and my car is going in for repair...
