I'm looking to buy some new lenses for my 20D body. I really don't want to spend $600 on the Canon IS lens, so I'm considering these three lenses for my landscape, night & outdoor photography:
Sigma 18-125mm 3.5-5.6/f DC $270.00
and
Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX $299.00
or
Sigma 20mm f/1.8 EX $369.00
I'm looking for sharper wide angle shots and a general purpose lens.
Any comments/suggestions?

I just recently got the 20D, Damn fine camera!!!
I would recommend the following:
Canon 50mm f/1.8 - $70.00 (Ask anyone who has it, MUST HAVE)
Tamron 28-300 f/3.5-6.3 XR Di (Great Range, Sharp Lens and compact) - $350
I have these and I really like them alot. I also found the Canon 28-135mm IS USM f/3.5-5.6 on ebay for $350. The IS comes in very handy if you have shaky hands. Not very good for low light situations unless on a tripod and with a non moving subject.
