With my Architecture challenge entry, I scored, ahem, exactly 5. And I just found another pic with the same average.
 
Any others with a round-figure score like that? |

I don't think he's commenting on your photo Gina. He's just saying that his picture and yours both received scores of 5.000. He's asking if anyone else had ever received a 5.000 score for a picture. Nice sunrise, by the way.

| no i didnt think he was saying anything bad, just wasnt sure what he was trying to say..... it was nice to see my pic with his....for me its not about winning but the feed back how to get better and learn from the people here... but winning is a good thing. |

Gina, I was only remarking on the fact that the photos both recieved an average of 5.000. I just wondered what other *.000 scores there were.
Wow, eleven 7's. I guess we'll never see a 10.00 (except in the dreamstate, eh). |

Pug,
A "perfect average score" would be 5.5000, as the avereage of 1 and 10 is 5.5... In other words, 1-5 are below the median, 6-10 are above the median, and 5.5 is the median...
Personally, I'm shooting for the day I get a 6.6666; THAT would be some number for a beast like me...

bear_music, I wasn't after a "perfect average" because people can only vote with whole numbers. I know the average is 5.5 in the range 1-10. But a score of 5.000 is like everyone who cast votes voted 5.
Okay, so while we're at it, who's scored exactly 5.500? |
