Hi all. I purchased a Canon EOS 300D a couple months ago and have been trying to get the hang of this again. I took this shot at a street fair here in San Diego. Any input would ve very welcome!

Nice color, great capture. Some areas are a bit dark, but that's ok... I'd like to see more. Can you upload photos to your DPC porfolio?

Very nice. It would've been interesting to get down as low as the little girl to get the shot. Usually see pictures of kids from the height of adults but the most memorable ones are the one that are at the eye level of the child. Pet pictures are the same way.

Good Luck and happy shooting with the new camera.

Very nice exposure and colours. I just wish that the background wasn't that busy. Nice one.

Hope you don't mind but i played around with it (not that great cause I did it in a hurry), all I did was crop, blur the background a bit, played with brightness contrast, and sharpened.

I thought it was a darling capture in the orginal state but its simply fantastic with the backround blurred and brightened up a bit.

Very cute pic. All the colour really makes the shot great.

Moving this thread to the Individual Photo category, where it belongs.

Very nice! One suggestions (and something I have to remind myself of also) I bet if you'd moved to your left a couple feet and gotten down a little lower -- you'd have lost most of the distracting background keeping the focus on the little girl.
