I'm trying to keep a cool face :)

I started real bad, 4.2 or so on the first 10 votes, but getting better:

Anything above my avg (5.45) is good.

Now I've broken two 500 barriers, both in comments and forum posts :)

I don't think I will be able to show my face after this challenge! Just Kidding, but I just had to say it! Not doing too badly. 5.92 so far.

Good luck everyone.

6+, 7 comments, and in the near future a lot of people who'll be angry at me.

14 comments so far, all positive. Does that mean I have a low score? or a high score? ;)

Well, when the first vote came in and started me at 3.0000, I was a bit taken back.
Been a slow battle back up to it's current high of 5.4203 earth-shattering points!!
LOL

14 comments in the first day must be a record - now intrigued to know your score :D

It's not. I've had as many as 24 comments on the first day, and I'm sure that others have had even more.
"Only" 7 comments so far in Faceless, though. Looks like Thamer's got another ribbon!

My Faceless entry's been gradually rising from about 4.3 to 4.8, but with only one comment so far ... just about typical for me : )

Anybody else getting nasty comments on their pictures, I have a real lulu, guess they must be mad about how bad their picture is doing, I'm going for the brown myself but wouldn't consider saying nasty things to others because I have a bad picture.

I've been avoiding reading my comments until after the voting is over.

71 votes, 1 comment, 5.3099...

The one comment makes the interesting observation that it "looks like" I overused a filter but if it was done "naturally" it's a "great effect"...

Say what? A legal post-processing efect is somehow LESS effective if it was NOT done "in the camera"? I thought we were judging based on finished results here?

Robt.

Sounds like they like the effect, but not quite to the degree with which it's applied, and that they "assume" you have more control over that with post-processing than in-camera.

Lower than I hoped to start with, took a chance with this shot, more artistic than normal, and I usually get hit with lower score when I deviate from the standard formula. I like the shot and Ive got three good comments - so I'm not complaining too loud.

I usually don't post these so as not to jynx to thing, but I think the scoring has somewhat stablized and it doesn't look like this will break 6.

Two challenges entered, and both identical scores at the moment, at least I'm consistently average....ugh.
