It was ironic - all week I was waiting for a bright sunny day to get a shot of a gleaming white bridge against the blue sky with a polarizer. So the sun finally arrived on Sunday, off I went and submitted the picture taken under the bridge, for which there was no bright light necessary.

Ed, I like your bridges! I especially liked the London Bridge one. Where were you standing to get that shot? The water looks really swift!

My first choice for the challenge was this shot: //www.200bar.de/nds/show_pic.php?id=111 . Unfortunately I didn't achieve the desired effect completely without spot editing. So I had to submit the IMO not so nice photo //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=13793. Which one do you like better? |

They're both very nice, I'd say I like the one you submitted better, but I like the sepia tone with the blue umbrella in the one you didn't submit

Thankyou. If you walk along the North bank of the river, the path takes you under the bridge - and at around 5 in the afternoon, given sunlight, the reflections off the water light up the whole underneath of the bridge.
