bad timing for me, jeremy, this weekend. however, i'm going to be up in philly the weekend of the 28th, and will be able to get out for sunrise both sat and sun, if you'd like. i'd like to hit fishtown and work my way back to spring garden, then down to kelly and then up to manayunk.

my wife is a philly girl. we were married in bala cynwyd and lived in narberth and manayunk right after getting married. still have a lot of friends up there. kids don't have school on mon, 1/31, so we thought we'd make a weekend of it. all the same, they all sleep in, leaving me free to roam the city until 9:30 or so. i haven't been up there to shoot, though, since going digital, and am really looking forward to this!

I live close to Philadelphia, wish I could tag along but my mother is on vacation for the next week so I'm under her thumb for the next week. I wish y'all luck!

My camera isn't quite the caliber that y'all have but I'm hoping to take a photo for the architecture challenge somewhere in south Jersey, possibly Cape May, that might do better than my first few challenges :)

Oh I wasn't knocking my camera, it's served me very well the past 2 years :) It was my first digital and when I get my Rebel in the next few months I'll be passing the LS443 on to my mom.

I've taken this bad boy *everywhere* (seriously, everywhere, I have a small camera bag for it and keep it in my purse always) for the past 2 years and haven't had problem one. But I'm looking forward to getting a digital SLR since that's what I was used to before I got this point and shoot. By the way, I really love that third picture you posted, it's *stunning* :) - Onessa

P.S. Jeremy if you take the train to 30th St. Station go down into the main hall of the station. The west exit/exit will be to your right.
See ya!
